How I became a photographer?

Since I was a child I have always been interested in the visual arts. But it was a great friend, the late Jan, who gave me the taste for serious photography more than 20 years ago when we worked in a small hotel in Suffolk, UK as waiters.

How would I describe myself as a photographer with ONLY 3 adjectives?

How long I have been doing this?

I covered my first event in 2010 and have been making my living as a photographer since 2011. But all started in 2002.

What languages do I speak?

I am fluent in English, Spanish (mother tongue ), French and Italian.

Out of all my photos, which one is my favorite? Why?

The best one will be the next one and then the next one and so on until the last picture I take in my life. The best of my photographs will be the one that includes all my experience as a photographer. Although to this day, my favourites are undoubtedly the photographs I take of my children, Sasha and Erik.

What sets your work apart from other photographers?

One of the most important things for clients who work with me is that, unlike most corporate photographers or event photographers, I come from an editorial background. For me, photography is all about telling the story behind the person or the event. The images behind these stories have to engage and nearly seduce the spectator.
